Christian K. Mullett
Christian K. Mullett is a founding member of Hicks & Mullett, PLLC. His practice centers on real property law, including zoning and land use, construction, and contracts. Additionally, Mr. Mullett represents clients in general civil litigation. He is admitted to practice in all Michigan State courts, the Western District of Michigan, and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to the firm's formation, Mr. Mullett practiced extensively in the area of environmental administrative law, with a particular emphasis on wetland permitting. Mr. Mullett also has past experience in consumer litigation, management-side employment law, and family law. As a law student, he completed an internship with a federal judge, and also devoted significant time working as a student attorney with the Free Legal Aid Clinic in Detroit. Additionally, as a law student, Mr. Mullett was employed by the Michigan Court of Appeals in the Southfield office. His broad range of experience and exposure to different areas of the law has given him a unique understanding of different court systems and the practice of law in general. Mr. Mullett is an approved Case Evaluator for the circuit courts of Shiawassee, Eaton and Clinton Counties.
Mr. Mullett is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School where he was a finalist in the Student Trial Advocacy Program. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
